ABOUT MEG

Dr Meg Scanlan

Director and Clinical Psychologist
BSc(Hons), DPsych, MAPS, FCCLP

Meg discovered a love of psychology by accident in 2002 when she added it to her first year load as a ‘filler’ subject.  She has a particular interest in the treatment of Eating Disorders that evolved over the course of her studies and is now the main focus of her work.  She is a believer in evidence-based treatments as well as ensuring that the individual needs of each client are considered.  Meg loves seeing her clients develop self-understanding and learn ways to foster a more compassionate, healthy relationship with their minds and bodies.

Meg has general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, and has endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology.  She has completed two years of supervision in Family Based Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa with a faculty member of the Training Institute of Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders (USA).  She is currently undertaking supervision in Schema Therapy with an Accredited Advanced Schema Therapist.
